In this podcast, we talk with Richard Capriola who worked as an addiction counselor at the Menninger Clinic in Houston Texas for over a decade and treated individuals with co-occurring disorders. In addition to battling substance abuse disorder they were also struggling with issues like depression and anxiety or some sort of emerging personality disorder. We discussed the similarities and differences between adolescent and adult substance abuse disorder. We discussed what substances are today's teens using and a gateway drug.
