Choosing the right college can be a difficult decision for your teenager. Here are the Total Tutor Tidbits for your prospective college student. 1. Have your teenager start to think about where they want to go to college as a freshmen in high school. Ask your son or daughter what they want to do after college. Have he or she come up with a list of fields they are interested in. Then have your teenager research the schools that offer they want to go for. During their sophomore year in high school start to take college trips to look at the schools. Once your teenager has an idea what schools he or she wants to attend. Have your teenager. Figure out what GPA they and SAT score they want to enter into school. Then they should go after it with all they have. They should research scholarships that are available at those schools. Your child Junior year should be one of preparation. Enroll in a SAT prep class. Your son or daughter devote extra hours of school to prepare for that exam. Now it is time to apply for Colleges. One of the last steps in this long process. At this point, your high school senior should have SAT scores, grades, and activities to apply. The last part is the college entrance essay. Try to get guidance from an expert writer or there are great resources on the internet.
