Leon Walker, Jr. discusses growing up in the inner-city and low self-esteem


Leon Walker, Junior tells his story about how he refused to let his childhood traumas define his future. That is a story of hope, encouragement, and inspiration.

The National Institute on drug abuse estimates that 25% of American kids grow up in households where substance abuse is present. In homes where one or more adults abuse alcohol or drugs, the children are approximately twice as likely to develop addictive disorders due to low self-esteem.
